Young women policy advocates

IEA seeks to engage a diverse cohort of young women from all sectors who are committed to gender equality and women’s empowerment. The program will allow for peer to peer networking with young women getting a platform to share experiences amongst themselves. IEA will recruit a cohort of 10 young, talented and dedicated women each year to serve as volunteers and interns at IEA. While participating in a structured professional space, the young women will be mentored by staff and leaders in their respective fields of expertise. They will have the opportunity to contribute to gender equality and women’s empowerment and become part of a network of young leaders at IEA. Systems perpetuate inequality. IEA believes in young women as agents of change and who can disrupt the status quo by building more equal, unified and resilient societies for all.
